But I never say, “I hate my new job” or “I’m so bored and it’s killing me.” These are things I just say to remind them that they have changed, and that they’ve improved.

But instead of eating out, I’m eating out with my friends. I always said it was a great time to make friends, but I had no idea it was so great. So I just made the friends that I was trying to make friends with.
I have had friends make me aware of some changes in my life. Some of them have had serious health issues. Some have taken themselves far too seriously, and some have been completely broken by their own actions. That’s not to say I’m always right, but I do say that when good friends change, it is usually because they are in a better place.

It’s a rehab for the addict, where they get to work on their issues, where they are able to set boundaries with their friends, where they are not expected to be friends with anyone who hasn’t been an addict. And the people who take themselves too seriously, are the ones who are in the worst place.
The problem with many of our current systems is that they all reward the same behavior: the addict is rewarded with the fix, the addict is rewarded with drugs, and the addict is rewarded with drugs. This means that everyone in the system is rewarded in the same way and that the entire system is built on the idea that addicts are the most dangerous people in the world. It means that if you are a bad person, your addiction will be the most dangerous thing that ever happened to you.
The problem with this is that is doesn’t mean that you are necessarily going to change. Our society has a lot of assumptions about drug addiction and, in some cases, it’s based on some really bad research. We assume addicts are inherently dangerous people who never change. We assume that anyone who says they’ve been clean is basically lying. We assume that all addicts are sick. We assume that addicts don’t want to be treated.
