When I was first starting out, I realized that it was pretty easy to use a prescription to get health care to some people. I had always figured that my habits would always have a life-changing impact. Now, though, I’ve realized that I can live without them.
Well, you’ve been living that way for a while now, but that doesn’t change the fact that your health is very much in your control. In fact, because most of your behaviors are automatic and unconscious, they may actually be more important than you think.
It is true that most of our habits are “automatic” – these are the things that are done without even thinking about it. Thats why we always have the choice to break them. We can consciously choose to create a healthier life, or we can have the opposite effect of simply not wanting to break the habits. We can choose to go to the gym rather than smoking, or we can choose to eat the right foods.
No matter how much we are on autopilot, we’ll never be able to break the habits. So there is a high probability we’ll never get the chance to do it. In the end, it’s all about the self-awareness and self-reaction.
Well, we all know that the most important part of our actions are the ones we choose to take. So just choose to be better today and choose to take action to be better tomorrow. It’s not about being self-aware or self-reacting, its about the choice of action.
So we need to start from the very beginning before we start to fix our habit. We need to start the habit of making a conscious and intentional decision to eat better. Then, we have to decide what we will eat.
The decision to eat a healthy diet is not the same as making a conscious choice to eat healthy. You can’t eat healthy and not make a conscious choice to eat healthy. If you are eating healthy you are most likely eating foods you know you should eat. If you are eating unhealthy you are most likely eating foods you don’t know you should eat. The only way to get to that point is through awareness.
What you eat is a choice. You could be eating healthy food and not make a conscious choice to eat healthy food. A conscious choice to eat healthy food means you choose when, where, and how you will eat that food. You decide what you will eat and when you will eat it.
This is the same as a diet. You make a conscious choice to eat food. You eat food. You choose to eat food. You eat healthy food. You do the same for your diet.
