Most of the new trainers are really good at the track and they’ll tell you exactly what you need to do so you don’t have to do it yourself. Once you master your bodyweight, squats, and lunges, you can even get some great high-knee presses. And you don’t even need a coach, you can just do it on your own.
Well, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not really good at anything, but I do know that I am at least pretty damn good at running. And I’ve been doing that for a few years now. The only problem is that I haven’t had the opportunity to do a few of the more challenging workouts since my first injury in college. So this past winter and spring I took time to train a lot more and I can honestly say that I’m getting better at them.
