The first three generations of my family lived on the mainland. My grandfather was an engineer and worked his ass off bringing up his whole family when things were pretty bad out there. Unfortunately, my parents never really got it right until after they got married and moved to Seattle. Then that was all they had left to look forward to. Just like any other relationship, we started getting married too fast and became completely unrealistic with how much time and care our children would need.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
