Many people are not aware that the storage reports for their Google Drive account can be found in two different places. The first is on the “Google Drive” page, which can be accessed by clicking on a user’s name at the top of any Google Drive file or folder.

The second way to find these files is to go directly to (, and then click on “Storage” under the heading “Quota.)” This is not the only thing that can be found on this page. One of the additional tabs for “Storage” in Settings is “Files.”

This tab includes a list of all files saved to Google Drive, including storage report files and other important information related to your account’s file usage.

For example, under “Details,” you’ll find how many items are stored versus uploaded or downloaded, which date range these statistics cover (for instance: last month), what percentage has been used so far out of the total amount available, etc.

There will also be an estimation – provided by Google – as to when space may run out if nothing changes within a certain time frame or if no more uploads take place; there are even suggestions
