I like to think of myself as a self-aware person. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like being told what to do or what to think. So when it comes to self-awareness, I’m not sure when I was more self-aware, but I know that in the past I’ve been a bit too hard on myself.
I’ve gone through the most painful of times through these six months of self-awareness, but I’ve found that I can get through it without being so aware of what I’m doing. I’ve been able to put it behind me, but I have a hard time seeing myself walking away without ever having a good look at myself.
Self-awareness and healthy behaviors are both important in order to lead a productive life. The problem is that if you try to tackle a hard problem on your own, you may not be able to find the good answers, or you may be too afraid to ask tough questions. Self-awareness is like a self-defence mechanism, but instead of trying to protect yourself from some real life threat, it’s like you’re trying to protect yourself from a self-created one.
Your goal is to go to the bathroom and have a decent look at yourself. But how many would you want to look at yourself in the mirror? It’s the question. If you look at yourself in the mirror, you’ll feel like you’re running away, you’ll be laughing, and you’ll cry. It’s the way they look at themselves.
We know that we like ourselves so we get into great fights, but we don’t have time to react when we think we’re being attacked. We just want to be nice to ourselves, to be the best we can be. So we tend to keep our focus on ourselves, on why we want to get hurt, on what makes us feel better and better, and on what makes us happy.
The movie’s protagonist is going to shoot in your basement; we were going to let him go in the backyard, he could be in the basement, but we could say, “Oh, shit, we’re going to do that.” Then we would look at it and see if he was really coming out of it and he would have just walked out.
Our goal right now, in the midst of all our self-analysis and self-analysis, is to be the best we can be. Not to be the best we can be in our personal life, but to be the best we can be in our professional life. It’s a balancing act, but one we’re going to commit to if we keep at it.
Self-awareness is a key to self-awareness. Without self-awareness, we don’t know why we’re having a bad day, we only know that our days do suck. Being aware of how we’re feeling and thinking is the first step to feeling OK with ourselves and with life.
Self-awareness is the ability to realize our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to take a look at them with a critical eye. It is the ability to recognize that we have a problem in a situation or life, and to use that information to solve the problem. That is why being aware of how we feel about our self or others is so important. A huge misconception is that being aware of the self is like being aware of everyone else. That is not really the case.
